May we embrace our crosses today,
We have no idea
the fire it will save us from
Pray for me to embrace mine,
I will be praying for you, too.
I am truly awful at accepting my crosses,
Are you?
I want to "shake it off"
I want to "be free" of its weight
And if it's been a long day, I might give in to whining and moping.
Do you?
